Try the Pendulum exercise…

This is a great gentle movement to help encourage mobility & reduce tension around the shoulder joint.

✔️ Rest one arm on a table or sturdy surface for support
✔️ Let the other arm hang relaxed
✔️ Make small circles clockwise x10, then anti-clockwise x10

If you’d like to increase the intensity, grab a light dumbbell or even a water bottle!

Keep the movement slow and controlled! This should feel gentle & relieving, not painful.

A common misconception we often hear is that treatment only works if you hear a loud ‘crack’ 💥

But adjustments can also include:

➡️ Soft tissue / muscle work
➡️ Gentle joint mobilisation
��➡️ Targeted stretching
➡️ Rehab exercises
➡️ Specific low-force adjustments

You don’t need to hear a crack for treatment to be effective!

Why do we do this? 👇

Reflex testing is a simple but important part of assessing how well your nervous system is functioning.

It helps us check how the nerves are communicating between the spine, brain & muscles and whether those pathways are responding as they should 🧠

It can also give us clues as to whether a nerve may be restricted, which nerve is involved & roughly where the issue may be coming from.

A more dramatic or duller response can help guide us when assessing nerve function!
